Who are we?

EHD Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in March 2021 with a mission to serve humanity through compassion, dignity, and development. Rooted in the belief that every individual deserves access to basic necessities and opportunities, we work across Pakistan to uplift communities through health services, education programs, emergency relief, and sustainable livelihood initiatives. 


From free eye operations and ambulance services to school bus transport, vocational centers, IT labs, and water schemes — our efforts span the full spectrum of welfare.

Health & Emergency Services

We provide free eye operations, ambulance support, medical aid, and emergency response services to underserved communities. Our mobile units and trauma assistance ensure timely care.

Education & Skill Development

Through school bus services, IT labs offering diplomas, vocational training centers, and handicraft programs, we empower youth and women with the tools to build independent, dignified futures.

Community Welfare & Infrastructure

From clean water schemes and solar systems for mosques to Dastarkhawan (free meals), plantation drives, and support for disabled persons, we work to uplift daily life and restore dignity across villages and towns.

Relief & Livelihood Support

In times of disaster, we lead flood relief operations, distribute rations, and rebuild lives. We also help families start small businesses, enabling long-term self-reliance and economic stability.

Behind EHD: Vision, Leadership & Support

Sheraz Abbasi

Founder

Sheraz Abbasi, founder of EHD Foundation, belongs to Kalinjar village, District Haripur, and currently resides in the UK, where he runs a successful food business. Despite living abroad, his heart remains deeply connected to Pakistan’s underserved communities. With a vision of dignity and empowerment, he launched EHD Foundation to uplift lives through health, education, relief, and sustainable development.

Muhammad Jafar 

Inspiration

Muhammad Jafar (Late), ex‑Chairman UC Kalinjar, was a respected social worker who served with international NGOs and carried a noble vision for humanity. Though not a formal member, the very name, vision, and guiding principles of EHD Foundation were inspired by his mentorship. He was a teacher and mentor to all, with a positive outlook for his community and beyond. His legacy of service and dignity continues to guide the mission of EHD Foundation.

Jamshid Abbasi

President of Foundation

Belonging to Kalinjar, Jamshid Abbasi serves as the President of EHD Foundation and has made significant contributions to its growth and vision. Alongside his leadership in welfare initiatives, he is also engaged in the fast‑food business in Pakistan, bringing entrepreneurial experience and community commitment together. His dedication and support continue to strengthen the foundation’s mission of empowering lives with dignity and care.

EHD Foundation is actively working across multiple sectors to uplift communities through sustainable, inclusive, and dignified development


EHD Foundation safeguards lives through healthcare, emergency relief, and awareness, ensuring dignity and support in every challenge.

EHD Foundation is committed to protecting lives through free medical camps and basic healthcare facilities for underserved communities. In times of disasters such as floods, earthquakes, or epidemics, the foundation responds swiftly with emergency relief, food, and medical aid. Ambulance and first‑aid services are provided to ensure urgent care reaches those in need without delay. Alongside treatment, EHD also runs awareness campaigns on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care, empowering people to safeguard their health and live with dignity.

EHD Foundation empowers futures through education, skills, and confidence for lasting progress.

EHD Foundation believes education is the key to empowerment and progress. Through scholarships and school support, it opens doors for underprivileged children to continue their studies. Vocational and technical training programs equip youth and adults with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship, while adult literacy initiatives ensure no one is left behind. Alongside this, capacity‑building workshops strengthen confidence and leadership, preparing communities to thrive in the modern world.

EHD Foundation strengthens communities through water, energy, shelter, and sustainable support.

EHD Foundation works to uplift communities by providing clean drinking water through hand pumps and filtration plants, and introducing solar energy solutions to areas without electricity. It supports vulnerable families with housing, shelter, and livelihood assistance, including food security and small business support. By collaborating with local and international NGOs, the foundation builds sustainable infrastructure that strengthens communities and ensures dignity for all.
